Collected our new Zaslaw 265 twin axle braked trailer with mesh top on Saturday and have to say we were very impressed with both the trailer and the service received. We had discussed the right trailer for our needs in advance with Julia in the office, then travelled over from Lochgilphead to collect it. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Marcin and Hubert. The site was easy to find, spacious and well laid out, giving us plenty of opportunity to wander around and compare the different trailers in stock before finalising everything. We went for the Zaslaw 265 twin axle braked trailer with mesh top and it feels very solid and well built, with some nice practical touches and straightforward operation. The handover process was smooth and easy, even though we added a few extras on the day including a trailer cover and spare wheel with mounting bracket. The bracket was quickly fitted and all the paperwork was handled efficiently. One top tip for future buyers would be to buy a suitable hitch lock while there to ensure you get the correct type. I didn’t and quickly realised just how many different hitch designs exist, entirely my own oversight. It was also really useful that they stock 13-pin to 7-pin adaptors for those who may not have thought ahead about towing electrics compatibility. The drive home was excellent. The trailer towed beautifully with none of the bouncing or shaking you sometimes get with empty trailers. It tracked straight, felt very stable and remained easy to see behind the car thanks to the mesh top and side mounted spare wheel. Hired their 2600kg car transporter trailer to move a broken down car. Quality bit of kit, toes really well. I'm used to towing large Caravans and this was much easier to use/tow. Hired straps as well, 4 over wheel straps. Very reasonable hire. I did have a small issue with a rear light, so I brought it back for them to take a look. They quickly identified a slight fault with the lamp and didn’t hesitate to replace it under warranty.
