Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made from AUTOBIL TRAILERS DYBOWSKI LIMITED (“we”, “our”, “us”).

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Sale.

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance by AUTOBIL TRAILERS DYBOWSKI LIMITED.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary.

All trailers are supplied in accordance with the manufacturer’s current specifications.

Returns & Cancellations

Trailer Purchases

All trailers are supplied by collection from our trading premises unless otherwise agreed.

Customers purchasing standard stock trailers online may have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer legislation.

However, due to the nature of trailers, once a trailer has been collected from our premises and towed or otherwise used, it can no longer be considered to be in “as new” condition.

Any returned trailer will be inspected upon its return. Where the trailer has suffered a reduction in value through use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, AUTOBIL TRAILERS DYBOWSKI LIMITED reserves the right to deduct an appropriate amount from any refund to reflect the reduction in resale value, as permitted under applicable consumer legislation.

Each return will be assessed individually.

Custom-built, made-to-order or modified trailers manufactured to the customer’s specifications cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty or not as described.

Parts & Accessories

Unused parts and accessories purchased online may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided that they:

  • remain unused;
  • are in their original packaging;
  • are complete;
  • are suitable for resale.

Eligible returned parts and accessories will receive a full refund after inspection.

Returns Not Accepted

Returns will not be accepted where:

  • the customer was aware of the fault before purchase;
  • damage has resulted from misuse, neglect, accident or improper operation;
  • the product has been modified or repaired by an unauthorised third party;
  • the item has been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

Warranty

AUTOBIL TRAILERS DYBOWSKI LIMITED guarantees that all new trailers supplied are free from manufacturing defects and suitable for their intended purpose when used in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating instructions.

Warranty Period

Two warranty options are available:

Standard Warranty

  • 12 months from the date of purchase.

Extended Warranty

  • 24 months from the date of purchase.

To maintain the 24-month warranty, the trailer must be serviced by AUTOBIL TRAILERS DYBOWSKI LIMITED every 6 months.

Service charges:

  • Standard trailers – from £50 + VAT
  • Car transporters – £100–£150 + VAT

Replacement parts are not included in the service price.

Warranty Repairs

Any manufacturing defect confirmed during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge by our authorised technicians.

Our standard repair period is up to 21 working days from receipt of the trailer unless otherwise agreed.

Making a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of Purchase
  • Original Invoice
  • Warranty Card (where supplied)
  • Trailer Approval Certificate

All warranty repairs are carried out at our trading premises.

Customers are responsible for delivering and collecting the trailer.

Delivery, transport and travelling costs are not covered under warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including but not limited to:

  • tyres;
  • wheel bearings;
  • brake shoes;
  • brake drums;
  • brake cables;
  • bulbs;
  • fuses;
  • coupling heads;
  • consumable components.

The warranty also excludes:

  • fading of trailer covers;
  • cosmetic deterioration caused by sunlight;
  • dulling or weathering of galvanised surfaces;
  • cosmetic changes caused by normal environmental conditions.

Warranty Becomes Void If

The warranty becomes invalid where damage results from:

  • overloading;
  • incorrect weight distribution;
  • excessive towing speed;
  • towing by an unqualified driver;
  • continued use after a fault has developed;
  • structural modifications;
  • unauthorised repairs;
  • installation of non-original replacement parts during the warranty period;
  • accidents;
  • misuse or abuse;
  • external damage;
  • removal or alteration of any manufacturer or company identification labels.

Statutory Rights

Nothing within these Terms of Sale limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under applicable United Kingdom consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
